| Today a jury on the Cape returned a guilty verdict in the slaying of fashion writer Christa Worthington. The jury was out over a week and saw one juror dismissed, and an alternate juror put in her place. This case, more than any other in recent memory, highlights how tricky it can be when dealing with juries. Clearly defense counsel did a great job of relating to the jury. He kept them out for over a week as they struggled to come to terms with the evidence. In the end, that what we expect of juries and defense attorneys. | Topics
